Our client, a private equity backed Healthcare Services and Retail group is entering into an exciting growth phase and requires a highly driven Group CFO to lead the finance function. With fresh new equity funding the company is well equipped to grow via acquisition 

Reporting to the Group CEO, working alongside a strong established leadership team and managing a team of ten competent finance professionals, you will be responsible for leading the finance function whilst providing the CEO and Board with sound commercial and financial advice.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the finance and admin team
• Driving the strategy and framework around financial and governance standards
• M&A scoping, due diligence and execution
• Oversight of the accounting function including monthly, annual financial reporting and board reporting
• Manage the alignment of financial systems of any acquired organisation
• Liaison with external auditors

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, be CA qualified and have solid finance accounting skills. Significant experience in leading a finance team and function as a CFO or Finance Director will be evident. Previous transaction experience is essential with the necessary capability to assist in all aspects of the M&A process. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills and will be an excellent oral and written communicator, including presentation skills.
