Accounting Brice Consulting is offering a Junior Accounting/Clerical position to join our team. 

Attention to detail is a must! 

We are a public practice tax planning and accountancy firm, located in Central Geelong. We've been in business for over forty years and are looking to add a junior accountant/clerk to our team.

You'll enjoy being part of our team and be exposed to a firm that utilises a mix of the latest technologies along with tried and tested manual methods. We have limited work from home ability. 

By providing continual on the job training, reward, recognition, and development, suitable candidates have the chance to advance their career both technically and personally. The successful candidate will be interacting regularly with partners, to focus on developing their skills. The individual must be proactive and have strong attention to detail alongside the ability to work well within a team and have a great attitude.

Responsibilities include: 

  • General Clerical Support.
  • Administrative work.
  • Preparing cashbooks for BAS,
  • Preparing cashbooks for annual returns.
  • obtaining information from government bodies.
  • Drafting letters to clients.

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Bookkeeping/clerical experience.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Time management skills
  • The ability to be a team player
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Ideal, but not essential is experience in: 

  • Paper based ledgers and cashbooks.
  • HandiSoft Suite of Software
  • Xero
  • MYOB
  • BGL
