About the role:

 

Due to continued growth and business expansion we have an increasing demand for financial analysis and insight to aid optimal commercial decision making. This has led to the creation of three new Commercial Analyst positions to join our high performing Commercial Finance team.

 

These positions are split across our business with two required to support the Supply Chain, Property and IT teams, while the other role will assist with the support of the Retail and Merchandising teams.

These roles will give you the opportunity to:

 

• Prepare and support commercial reviews of monthly and annual performance to provide senior managers with insight into results and trends.
• Support the development and maintenance of management and operational reporting to aid decision making.
• Identify and support process improvement projects with the aim of continuous improvement.
• Using data, prepare quality financial analysis, financial models and reports to create narratives to support informed decision making.
• Support and preparation of the forecasting and budgeting process.
• Provide support to projects and business cases

The successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve financial and operational issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
• Personable with excellent relationship skills.
• The ability to turn data into insights.
• Previous experience in commercial/business partnering roles.
• University qualification in Accounting, or equivalent type qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years Finance experience
• Desirable, but not essential, exposure to FMCG businesses, and experience in SAP.
