We are currently looking for an individual that enjoys working against high standards and taking on challenges.  We are a large operational facility in the fresh produce industry based in Western Sydney. Working with a knowledgeable team you will need to be goal driven and manage deliverables against set timelines.   

About the role: 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a full-time role consisting of managing a small team but also working collaboratively with the Management Team. The position is responsible for the overall financial accounting (end to end) to ensure regulatory governance for all business entities.  In addition, the role identifies and shares insights with the Management Team on maximising profitability and realise cost savings. The role leads IT projects that help improve productivity and workflow.

To be successful in this role you must be able to leverage your commercial management experience.  You must enjoy identifying challenges and be goal driven to solve them.  You motivate and inspire your team with coaching and development.  You are hard-working, enjoy leading a small team and continuously eager to learn more. 

Attributes for Success: 

Tertiary qualification with min 5 years commercial / financial accounting / cost accounting experience (CPA, CA qualification preferred) 

Excellent communication and analytical skills  

Resourceful 

General IT system knowledge  

Project Management Experience 

Advanced Excel Skills 

Great interpersonal skills
