The roles

We are looking for dynamic and experienced company secretaries and assistant company secretaries with entrepreneurial mindsets to join our rapidly expanding team. We currently have opportunities for the following roles:

  • Company Secretary – Sydney CBD based role
  • Assistant Company Secretary – Sydney CBD based role
  • Assistant Company Secretary – Melbourne CBD based role

We are a diverse team, and are looking for people who are enthusiastic, hard-working and client orientated. We want people who can work closely with our senior management to continue to grow and build the business. There will be opportunities to wear different hats to develop a broad range of business and personal skills, as well as contribute and share in the success of the business.

Each role will be accountable for the management of the compliance and secretariat functions to a number of ASX Listed, Public and Private Companies.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • provide a comprehensive range of Company Secretary services and high-quality relationship management with clients;
  • ensure compliance with statutory obligations under relevant laws and regulations;
  • manage and develop compliance frameworks, strategies, standards, policies, and systems; and
  • assist the Chair and Directors in the conduct of meetings and provide advice and guidance, in relation to broader governance requirements including duties under the Corporations Act (Cth) 2001, ASX Listing Rules and best practice Corporate Governance principles.

About you

We're looking for the following applicants:

Company Secretary

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in, or advising, a Company Secretariat function of an organisation (ASX Listing and Financial Services experience would be advantageous).
  • Extensive experience at Board level of an ASX listed organisation.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, Corporations Act requirements and ASX Listing Rules.
  • Proven ability to connect with people and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work positively and productively with Executive Teams, Boards of Directors and other stakeholders.
  • Seeking a varied role, with a focus process improvement projects, technology projects and business development and marketing.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a collaborative team member, and who is highly motivated, adaptable and proactive.
  • Desire to be part of a fantastic team collaborative culture.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.

Assistant Company Secretaries

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in, or assisting, a Company Secretariat function of an organisation (ASX Listing and Financial Services experience would be advantageous).

  • Ability to connect with people and build strong relationships, including working positively and productively with Executive Teams, Boards of Directors and other stakeholders.
