The Role:

We are currently seeking a Complete Goods Inventory Manager to join our Sales Operations team. The successful candidate being responsible for pipeline management and stock ordering of our premium John Deere range of Machinery while facilitating maximisation of order programs, strategy development as well as liaising with suppliers and Branch Sales Teams.

This is a full time, permanent role based at our Head Office in Wagga Wagga. This role would suit someone with experience within an analytical accounting role, machinery dealership or sales environment and who is looking to take the next step in their career.

 

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Sales and inventory forecasting, budget development, goals and forecasts for business use
  • Creation of and updating stock level ordering triggers to meet budgets, fill pipeline and meet budgets
  • Participation in internal and external inventory audits to verify inventory records are accurate
  • Liaise with other dealer groups for equipment transfers and order fulfilment
  • Gather, review and analyse statistical information based on sales goals, product changes and market trends
  • Plan and execute inventory re-ordering policies for stocked product lines
  • Business intelligence generation through database management and interpretation driving towards strategy execution

 

Essential Criteria/Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • High level written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to problem solve by using all available resources
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using relational database management tools
  • Flexibility to travel across our Area of Responsibility as required

Desirable:

  • 3+ years' dealership experience preferably in Sales, Analytical Accounting or Integrated Solutions
  • Knowledge of John Deere sales applications
  • Knowledge of Ag Machinery
