We are now recruiting a Corporate Accountant to support our growing teams across Australia. This role is based in our National Support Office in Milsons Point and offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in a business that is changing the face of healthcare.

About the role?

The Corporate Accountant is a key member of the Physio Inq Corporate Services leadership team and will report to the CFO/Head of Corporate Services. The role is responsible for developing financial policies and reporting, maintaining management information systems, providing commercial and financial guidance and support to management and contributing to the development of the Physio Inq strategy and business plan. The Corporate Accountant will work closely with the business and be responsible for the Junior Accountant and external AR/AP support. 

Who you are?

• Strong moral compass and the capacity to ensure adherence to financial and commercial laws and accounting best practice;
• High level of commercial and financial acumen;
• Detailed understanding of potential financial, taxation and commercial risks;
• Experience with or the capacity to quickly understand the payment functions associated with the NDIS, My Aged Care and DVA;
• Detailed knowledge of the accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliation functions; 
• Critical and strong analytical expertise and problem-solving skills;
• The capacity to master the use of finance and related technology;   
• CA or CPA qualifications and professional on-going development;
• The capacity to communicate, train and support non-commercial and non-financial peers and team members;
• Capacity to partner with line management as and when required; 
• Work with the management to support the business deliver the commercial and financial components of the Pinq Plan;
• An eagerness to follow and promote our House Rules
• The capacity to implement processes that address the changes to legislation that impact our commercial management; and
• The capacity to support management in ensuring teams have the space, the resources and the direction they require; and
• High level of emotional intelligence.

• Taxation Planning and Compliance
• Oversight of Remuneration Spend
• Financial Reports for Internal Use
• Financial Analysis and Forecasting
• Audit
• Management of Accounting Systems
