About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for coordinating the advisory function for the Australian & New Zealand group in addition to providing tax advice and working on a number of tax related projects related to international tax. You will be accountable for helping to implement taxation strategy, ensuring tax compliance obligations are met, and promoting best practice to minimise risk for the ANZ Group.
In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing the tax compliance work performed by junior members of the finance team. Whilst also supporting the wider team with finance related projects and building relationships with business units providing specific tax support.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will ideally have a big four / second tier background in tax advisory or compliance and it would be desirable to have at least 2 years' practical commercial experience.

CA / CPA and / or a Masters of Taxation will be well regarded and the ability to form strong relationships, willingness to share information and help others in the team will ensure success. Your ability to operate in a high performing & dynamic culture is paramount.
