We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our friendly finance team of 5 based in our Head Office in South Bank. Coming from a similar role, you will provide support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team

Key responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Ownership of the debtor’s ledger and the collections process
  • Negotiate and manage payment arrangements
  • Daily banking, customer payment allocations and bank reconciliations
  • Raising customer invoices on a Daily basis
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders across a range of credit and administrative functions
  • Processing Customer Credits and Refunds
  • Provide assistance to other staff within the finance department when required
  • Assist with month-end accounting procedures and the production of reports as required
  • Assess and review credit applications to ensure credit worthiness

Previous experience in credit control and/or accounts receivable is a must in addition to the following;

  • At least 2 years of similar experience
  • Intermediate Excel and Word
  • Understanding of accounting software systems.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can do positive attitude towards management and work colleagues whilst embracing the team culture
  • Ability to handle confidential information, discretely and professionally
  • A high level of passion, enthusiasm and commitment customer service
