This leading Australian company has a reputation for supplying quality services into an impressive portfolio of clients. They are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis due to extensive organisational growth and recently acquired long term projects.
Your new role
Reporting through to the Manager your duties will include:
- Ensure all overdue amounts are followed up and collected in a timely manner
- Maintain relationships with key debtors
- Assist with negotiation of payment plans
- Investigate and respond to queries
- Reconcile debtor accounts
- Assist with preparation of the fortnightly aged debtors report for management
- Provide general assistance with invoicing and receipting payments
What you'll need to succeed
- Credit control, collections and receivables experience, preferably within a high-volume environment is essential. Due to the requirements of this role candidates without experience in this area will not be considered.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you must take responsibility for your own work
- Adaptable to changing environments and able to pick up in-house software packages with ease
- High level of communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management abilities
