Our client is a large Property Development and Investment Group that specialise in world class Residential, Commercial and Retail Projects. With an impressive land bank, a strong development pipeline and access to large scale investment, they are entering a period of accelerated growth.

The Role

Joining an established and well-respected team, you’ll be responsible for the project accounting, financial reporting and cost/variance analysis for a portfolio of large and high-profile Development Projects. Furthermore, you’ll assist with the Group’s monthly reporting obligations.

Duties & Responsibilities include:  

• Month end project accounting, financial reporting, cash-flow forecasting and cost control analysis.
• Monthly reporting on variances (actuals vs budgets) and project performance analysis
• Preparations of quarterly reporting packs and schedules.
• Preparation of month end management reporting packs, cost schedules and other project reports.
• Project billing and revenue recognition
• Preparation of FBT return, BAS review and maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills and experience.

• CA/CPA qualification.
• 3 -5 years relevant Development Project Accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Property Development/Real Estate/Construction industry experience.
