Click here for further information on our Commitment to Child Safety: http://www.rch.org.au/quality/child-safety/ Further information about RCH is available at www.rch.org.au Parkville EMR Team: All staff employed in the Parkville EMR team will provide a sustainable and effective electronic medical record service to all health services across the Parkville Precinct (The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Womens Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal Childrens Hospital) and will service the 15,000+ clinicians and hospital staff with the day to day management and operation of the EMR. This is an innovative and progressive newly formed team that will be based at Jane Bell House. The EMR Ambulatory Application Team supports the following solutions - EpicCare Ambulatory, Beacon (Oncology), Cadence (Scheduling) and Referrals, My Chart, Haiku/Canto, EpicCare Link, Research and Care Everywhere including My Health Record, reporting to the EMR Ambulatory Application Manager. The EMR Beacon (Oncology) Analyst will be responsible for the design, build, testing, configuration, testing, installation and support of the EMR Beacon application. As the EMR Beacon Analyst you will support system configurations to support oncology and other relevant departments for cancer staging, management of chemotherapy, treatment plans and protocols, decision support, medication ordering, transition to survivorship and post-cancer care to align local requirements and strategic directions, you will ensure the delivery of the Beacon solutions meet the needs of all 4 health services to maximise streamlined and standardised workflows. You will work collaboratively with the EMR leadership team, EMR team, EMR vendor, adoption managers, technical teams and local health services to ensure the EMR is maintained, operates and optimised for the Parkville EMR Service for the benefit of all 4 health services. This position will be based at Jane Bell House, Parkville and may require you to work on a rotating on-call, after-hours roster.
