The Opportunity 

We are seeking to gather interest from candidates suitable to fill a Manager or an Associate Partner position that will be soon available in our Tax Specialist team.  Our business and client base are growing and the team is in need of a dynamic, motivated professional to join and help drive growth. 

You will be a specialist in Agribusiness Tax Advisory, with demonstrated experience in agribusiness taxation issues, tax effective business structures and business transactions.  
You will be dynamic and passionate professional who can display clear leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as sound business acumen and strategic vision.   

Due to our flexible working model, this opportunity can be based anywhere within New Zealand with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home as long as you have access to one of our many dispersed offices.  
 
This role will suit a highly commercial, driven, adaptable and solution orientated experienced Tax Specialist professional.  

 
Key Skills to be successful  

• A considerable number of years of experience in leadership roles in Tax, preferably from a mid-tier or Big 4 practice 
• Sound experience working closely with Agribusiness clients and excellent understanding of this industry 
• A degree in Commerce or Law  
• Achieved CA/CPA qualification or equivalent  
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect 
• Solid negotiation and influencing skills 
• Proven leadership capability and willingness to mentor others 
• Thorough risk management knowledge 
• A positive and proactive attitude to life and interpersonal relationships in general
