We are a busy modern CA firm based in central Takapuna and we require an experienced Accountant, with a minimum of 5 years NZ BAS & Tax experience, to join our existing team of 7 staff.

We offer flexibility around whether the role is full or part time (ideally minimum of 25 hours per week); the working hours, for those who want to work school hours; flexibility around school holidays; and options around some ability to work from home. Carparking could be available with the position.

We are a modern Chartered Accounting practice that embraces technology and we have up to date systems and comprehensive practice software to assist efficient workflows. We offer ongoing CPD hours well over the mandatory hours required.

We are seeking someone who has good communication and technical skills, and a commitment to working with clients. The ideal person will experience working with XERO, MYOB AO, MYOB Practice software, but we would also give consideration to those with experience working with other practice software. We are looking for someone with the ability to work largely unsupervised on the preparation of Annual Financial Statements, Tax Returns and Goods & Services Tax returns, to a review stage.
