Finance & Administration Manager

Moochi, a well-respected high performing NZ fashion brand has an exciting opportunity to join the growing business team in their Ponsonby office. 

Reporting into the newly created Commercial Manager role, we are seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Manager. The business is growing and international opportunities beckon – what a time to join the team!

You will have overall responsibility for the accounting function and provide administrative support across other corporate areas of the business. As a privately held business there will be increased emphasis on the management accounting area, specifically giving narrative, and meaning to the numbers to increase the ease in which well informed and timely business decisions can be made. You will be a Chartered Accountant with experience in managing all facets of finance. You’ll have the ability to roll up your sleeves where required, be agile and adaptable and display strong problem-solving skills in addition to being highly collaborative. Experience in the retail sector will be greatly beneficial.

To be successful you’ll have proven skills in:

  • Managing all tax requirements 
  • Maintaining accurate financial accounts for each entity 
  • Creating and preparing monthly management reports
  • Cashflow management and forecasting 
  • Target setting and reporting to ensure retail entities are meeting expense budgets and sales targets.
  • Annual budgets preparation 
  • Administration of all employment documentation and employee files
  • Property management and administration
  • Leadership of direct reports
  • Overseeing stock control from a financial viewpoint
