About the Role:

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our Finance Department based in Auckland Airport. This is a 3-month fixed term contract (30 hours a week, there is an opportunity for the role to extend). Reporting to the CFO you will be supporting the Finance team and the wider business through the delivery of accurate and timely financial accounting processes, reporting, and administration.

 The role of Finance Administrator will: 

  • General office administration duties including answering phones, filing, archiving.
  • Accounts payable, receiving and processing invoices and statements through XERO accounting software
  • Infringement and Tolls 
  • Ensuring the branches revenue and costs are allocated to the right place
  • Assist with preparation of monthly Management Accounts 
  • Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and Audit requirements
  • Be a positive team member

  • You are a solid team player with the ability to build rapport & mutual respect with clients, subcontractors, suppliers & office team members
  • You are organized, systematic & demonstrate a high level of accuracy & attention to detail
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, applying time management skills in a diverse range of tasks
  • You demonstrate high-level computer & typing skills including the use of XERO and cars+ car rental software
