Finance Analyst (Contract)

Leverage your 2-4 years accounting experience to step up and grow into a Financial Analyst role.
  • Six month contract, develop your analysis and business partnering skills
  • US multinational located in Rydalmere
  • $40-43 per hour plus superannuation
The company
Based at their Rydalmere offices, this US multinational offers a relaxed but professional work environment and the opportunity to work with a great team. Our client specialises in the installation of small and large scale equipment into major infrastructure and construction projects.

The role
Reporting to the APAC Finance Director and the Commercial Finance Director, your key focus will be to deliver month end tasks, prepare sales and operations reports and work closely with business leaders to provide accounting and analysis support. 

The responsibilities
This is a six month contract and specifically your responsibilities will be:
  • managing month end and providing reporting and variance analysis.
  • preparing monthly local forecasts and assisting with APAC forecasting and consolidations.
  • monitoring and managing project costs and WIP, and analysing key opportunities and risks.
  • assisting with the annual budgeting process and providing commentary on growth, margins and cash flow.
  • supporting functional managers with financial and commercial insights and guidance.
The candidate
In order to be successful in your application, you will have:
  • ideally started your CA, CPA or CIMA qualifications.
  • 2-4 years post-degree accounting experience, ideally management accounting with exposure to business partnering.
  • knowledge of cost/project accounting will be highly regarded.
  • have advanced MS Excel skills and knowledge of MS AX is desirable.
  • confidence and resilience to thrive in a complex, fast-paced and dynamic business.
