The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function and assisting in other accounting work.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

·        Verification of supplier details and maintenance of supplier master data

·        Coordination and management of various supplier trade accounts

·        Completion of credit application forms

·        Coordination, processing and reconciliation of corporate credit cards

·        Processing of staff expense claims

·        Motor vehicle registrations and transfers

·        Completion of documentation for new bank accounts as required

·        Processing of accounting journal entries

·        Month end general ledger reconciliations

·        Other ad hoc administrative tasks

 

Your Experience

To be successful in this role you must possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, initiative and flexibility to be able to meet our growing business demands at Discovery Parks.

 

·        Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and general finance

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Strong time management, and efficient processing capacity

·        Attention to detail

·        Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite; particularly Outlook, and Excel

·        Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
