We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Administrator for a full-time 12 month fixed term role based in Wellington city! The role is with a nationally recognised property industry brand with an exceptional reputation who demonstrate real value to both their clientele and employees.  Their workplace culture embodies employment satisfaction, longevity, and a family orientated office atmosphere.

This role will suit someone who is immediately available, based in Wellington and displays at least 3 years of Accounts Payable and Receivable experience within a fast-paced environment. If you have used any ERP system or Xero in the past, then that would certainly benefit as well.

 

General duties include:

  • End to end Accounts Payable processes
  • End to end Accounts Receivable processes
  • GST returns
  • Credit control / invoice reconciliations 
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Adhoc monthly reporting
  • Portfolio management of Wellington based projects.
  • Providing on-going support to wider finance team when required

 

A bit about you

We are looking for experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Administrators who have had exposure to ERP systems and able to conduct end to end accounts payable / account receivable processes. You will need to be able to start a new role by early April 2021, able to work in Wellington City and be comfortable with working 44 hours a week between Monday to Friday.

 

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

  • 3 years + experience in an accounts payable and receivable role.
  • Exposure to the property sector in an accounting capacity would benefit.
  • Immaculate numeracy skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within an ERP environment.
  • Comfortable to work under pressure at times
  • Intermediate – advanced MS Excel experience
  • A curious mindset who enjoys engaging with wider parts of a business
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • A lively and friendly personality who thrives in team environments.
