About the opportunity
Fonterra Group Planning and Performance (GPP) team is responsible for coordination and presentation of forecasts, annual budget, and provision of monthly insights against Business Unit (BU) and Group performance targets. Key stakeholders are Fonterra Board, Shareholders’ Council, Fonterra Management Team, CEO, CFO, Commercial Directors, Group Directors, and Business Unit Leaders. Insights provided by GPP may also be used in presentations to external investors.
In your new role as our Finance Business Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the reporting systems utilised meet the requirements of both Group and the Business Units that the Group supports.
Your role will be to ensure effective and efficient financial performance reporting solutions for the Group Performance and Planning team and commercial teams across the business.
Working closely with key users in Global Accounting Services, Business Units, and IT teams, you will both be part of agreeing on priorities and then supporting implementations, to drive improvement in our business performance reporting tools.
Please note: This role can either be based in Auckland or Hamilton.
You will have a background in either Finance or IT, with proven experience in translating from business requirements into technical IT language and ensuring alignment on priorities.
As well as a natural ability for reporting and strong influencing abilities, your confidence in delivering presentations and to a diverse group of stakeholders across the business will be essential.
