The Role The Finance Business Partner’s role is to support Discovery Holiday Parks’ Finance and Operations Teams through the development and review of financial information and associated models assisting the business to make educated decisions. The Finance Business Partner will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the Finance and Operations Departments for two Regions and will contribute to the development and delivery of business-wide initiatives focused on business growth, company strategy, operational excellence and financial results, whilst role modelling and promoting Discovery Park’s values. This role is both internally and externally focused and requires a high degree of innovation and industry awareness, with the ability to provide direction and continual development of: · Revenue analysis, reporting, and forward forecasting · KPI reporting via establishing relevant dashboards · Monthly expenditure analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting · Business planning with the Operations team This role requires someone who is easily adaptable and can manage having various stakeholders to manage and work alongside of. Your Experience To ensure your success in the role, you must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting or analyst function. Additional experience in accounting software systems and using business intelligence tools is required to be successful in this role. Some knowledge of Adaptive Insights would be desirable. Your Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills will be at an advanced level and being able to analyse and present data in various formats will be key to this role. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, decisiveness, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at Discovery Parks. You will have a highly organised mindset, with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders whilst working closely with our established Finance & Operations Teams.
