Liaison:

Directly reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner will work closely with the General Manager of Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain, responsible for the Toll Manufacturing (VMS Engineering) and Jacon Product segment of MAAS Group Holdings. The Finance Business Partner will be across all commercial aspects of the business and regularly consult with the CEO and CFO of Maas Group Holdings (ASX: MGH).

Overview of role:

The Finance Business Partner will provide the business unit General Manager with high quality information and insights to guide decision making for all commercial aspects of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Stock Control, Maintenance and Sales of the strategic business unit as well as regularly consult with senior managers of Maas Group Holdings.

Based in Sydney, the Finance Business Partner role is fulltime, with regular interstate travel and, on occasions, international travel required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of solid financial policies and procedures for the business segment
  • Work with the supply chain team to ensure the inventory systems and process are managed with a high level of internal control and provide accurate reporting outcomes
  • Work with shared services to ensure efficient and effective delivery of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
  • Preparation of all Business Unit financial and cash flow reporting, planning, forecasting, variance analysis and KPI reporting activities, including annual budget plans
  • Provide financial analysis of monthly results and business performance
  • Support the sales and operations teams to access business transactions providing scenario analysis and business case support
  • Drive financial performance through ongoing development and refinement of key reporting metrics.

Qualifications & experience:

  • You will be an experienced Finance Manager with experience working in the manufacturing sector essential and have a strong knowledge of costings from a manufacturing standpoint
  • CA or CPA membership
  • Experience working in the manufacturing sector and inventory management
  • Strong at setting up processes and streamlining processes
  • Experience in preparing and presenting month end reporting.
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to explain variances
  • Experience in inventory management systems and intermediate to advanced Excel and other MS Office skills
