Finance Business Partner

• Be the Finance Business Partner for growing Private Equity backed company
• Salary circa $140,000 plus super (negotiable).
• Western Sydney location

Our client is looking for an experienced CA/CPA qualified Senior Financial Accountant for a Business Partnering Role.  Experiencing rapid organic growth and pursuing relevant acquisition targets this company is in a strong forward trajectory. The role is responsible for providing financial information and support to the broader management team to support decision-making, in addition to ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide and interpret the company’s financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Lead the financial reporting process within specified deadlines
• Deliver the to annual budget and regular forecasts, providing commentary to explain variances.
• Monitor cash flow
• Create and develop strong external stakeholder relationships (Tax advisors, auditors etc) 
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register 
• Manage the corporate insurance program
• Manage the company payroll including monthly remuneration, annual bonuses, Tax, Workers Compensation

You will have ideally trained within a Big 4 accounting firm and have a proven track record in a Senior Accountant position. You will hold a formal accounting qualification (CA/CPA) and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles, as well as demonstrating a willingness and ability to be the SME for the company ERP system. 

You will have highly developed interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively and liaise with all people at all levels (both internal and external).  You core technical accounting skills will be complemented by a highly commercial mindset and a solid background in analysis
