About the role

Due to an internal promotion we are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner - Food Service, the position is part of the Commercial Finance team and supports the Sales Team and Marketing & Innovation teams of Tip Top, the baking division of George Weston Foods. Key responsibility areas include effective business partnering to provide commercial analysis and insights which are communicated to make superior business decisions. Working in Foodservice the role will have exposure with QSR, Distributors, Caterers and Horeca accounts, an operational role, responsible for managing costing, NPD, projects and assisting with business cases.

The role requires strong analytical skills, good business acumen and a firm understanding of the FMCG industry. Excellent business partnering skills will be needed to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of business objectives and achieving Tip Tops Vision.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Support the delivery of business goals and objectives by being a key commercial business partner for Sales and Marketing & Innovation
• Provide commercial analysis and insights to the relevant channels and product families
• Support the Sales Finance Manager in providing high level strategic and commercial support to the Sales team
• Key Stakeholder for NPD initiatives including providing commercial support, insights and generation of P&L's
• Lead and facilitate the Strategic Planning, Annual Operating Plan and Forecasting processes for relevant accounts
• Proactively support the Tip Top growth agenda, providing commercial insight and analysis including financial modelling, data analytics and Business Case development to facilitate decision making
• Coach and develop commercial capability in the Sales team
• Help facilitate a performance management process that provides no surprises to the business
• Become proficient in Tableau and use it effectively to draw business insights from data and build meaningful dashboards. 

About You

• Degree qualified (Economics, Business, Commerce)
• Member of professional accounting body (CA, CPA)
• Extensive FMCG / Foodservice / Sales experience
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint essential)
• Experience with SAP System, BW, Tableau (advantageous)
• Exceptional business partnering skills and self-driven
