Your purpose

This role supports the controllership function for the Australian business and ensures the internal control framework is well maintained. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager upholds compliance for both the external reporting requirements as well as the implementation and compliance with global financial policies and standards.

With responsibility for managing the internal and external audit processes, external reporting requirements (such as statutory reporting, FBT and GST), dealing with external stakeholders (Auditors) and overall, ensuring Fonterra Australia is compliant with all Group policies (including the Delegated Authority Framework and Treasury Policies). 

You will be an engaging and confident communicator, with a customer service mindset, can present data in a meaningful dialogue to a variety of stakeholders. Alongside this, you will have:

• Tenure in a CA Audit firm with either a CA or CPA
• Commercial sector experience will be highly desirable but not essential
• Exposure to a similar industry, which could include but not limited to: FMCG, manufacturing, engineering, transport & logistics
• Working knowledge in financial accounting and tax
• A strong ability to analyse complex information and provide sound, well-reasoned decisions
