HIVE (formerly known as TBST – Total Business Services and Training) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) # 22341 based in Melbourne CBD.

We successfully deliver government-funded and non-government-funded, nationally recognised qualifications. We offer qualifications from a Certificate IV Level to an Advanced Diploma level. We have been uniting our learners' career aspirations for over ten years. 

On the Pier Pty Ltd consists of two restaurants and a function space, all located in Port Melbourne and is considered as Port Melbourne’ premium dining precinct. Our aim is to offer excellent customer service and dining experience throughout both restaurants - be it a family gathering, an intimate dinner for two or a friend's night out.

About the role

We are looking for someone to take charge as a key member of our HIVE and On the Pier Pty Ltd team members. You will work closely with the CEO and Leadership team on all things financial. This position is being offered on a full-time basis and successful candidates will be expected to work from our CBD Campus. 

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing
• Manage day to day transactional finance requirements of the company including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation of accounts
• Prepare and monitor financial performance
• Prepare and Lodge BAS
• Financial Reporting 
• Invoicing and end of month reporting

To be considered for a role, you will have

• Strong financial background and qualifications (CA, CPA or MBA)
• 5 years plus experience in similar finance roles
• Experience in managing financial accounts process, finance functions and core finance management skills
• Strong desire for continuous improvement, identifies not only problems but solutions
• Experience in Xero, MS office Suite is a must
• Previous Experience in Hospitality - Food and Beverage will be highly regarded
• Experience working in a small to medium business
• Superior organisational and time management skills and ability to priorities competing priorities effectively
