The Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our successful business that has experienced sustained growth since inception, which is currently experiencing planned escalating growth.

You need to be talented and have the drive to succeed.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be managing the operations of a small finance team.  This is a very broad and hands on role, including preparations of accurate accounts, tax obligations, along with day to day operations of finance, both for our Australian and New Zealand businesses.

 

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual performance reports

Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts 

Full Accounts Payable function

Oversee Accounts Receivable function

Provide decision support for business performance, product pricing and capex projects

Prepare and lodge monthly and quarterly BAS

Prepare and lodge payroll tax for all states

Maintain and reconcile ATO accounts 

Prepare and lodge Superannuation returns

Prepare and lodge workers Compensation Annual declaration

Monitoring inventory and minimising stock obsolescence.

Reviewing and streamlining processes to ensure efficient work flows

General Admin Tasks

 

Key Requirements

Tertiary Education in the field of Finance or relevant experience

Strong and clear communication skills

Confidence and ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Full ownership of Financials and preparation there of

Budgeting and Forecasting understanding

Excellent attention to detail

Adaptability and flexibility to work independently and in a team

Excellent knowledge of excel spreadsheets

Willingness to be hands on with day to day transactions
