Services include  medical, surgical, HDU, palliative care, oncology, renal dialysis  and rehabilitation, with childcare and aged care facilities also on campus. Finance Officer

Wanting to gain industry experience in the growing Healthcare sector?

A permanent part-time position (minimum 64hrs / FN) exists for a highly motivated individual to work collaboratively within the Finance team, assisting with a wide variety of the organisation's financial operations.  Formal qualifications in accounting preferred (TAFE qualified or looking to undertake University studies considered favourably).

• 2 + years' experience in an accounting role desirable, with an understanding of double entry accounting concepts and accrual based reporting
• Excellent problem solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
• A love of numbers and a desire to produce high quality work
• Strong computer literacy with well-developed Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Word)
• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast paced team
• Knowledge of health and aged care funding arrangements would be highly regarded
