The Role

The Role

The role is responsible for internal reporting to all areas of Adore Beauty, supporting and informing the executive leadership team regarding financial performance against budget, helping the departments to develop budgets, providing analysis of proposed business decisions and alerting senior managers to financial issues that require their attention.

The role produces monthly reports to the leadership team of every area as well as reports that are delivered to the Board. You will be instrumental in driving change and steering the way forward to find solutions, instil accountability, and improve efficiencies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participate and support the yearly Business Planning and decision making by providing timely and insightful analysis of performance across multiple products, services and business lines

  •  Support the CFO in periodic budgeting and forecasting cycles through timely data extraction and analysis in order to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals

  • Support the preparation and communication of financial results and key performance indicators to various key stakeholders

  • Lead the development and maintenance of standard formats, templates, models and systems to be utilized by the Finance and Planning team

  • Support the preparation and consolidation of quarterly financial reports for the Executive Team and assist in addressing strategic analysis as requested

  • Ensure that monthly management reports remain relevant to needs and support the Finance team in the development of automated reporting enhancements, as required

  • Produce value-adding analysis of, and commentary on performance, in monthly management reports with primary focus on the analysis and explanation of variances against budgets & forecasts

  • Consolidate and deliver ad-hoc product, service or business specific analysis on a timely basis

  • Monthly board reporting including ESG

The successful skill set we are looking for is:

  • Sound knowledge of Management Reporting processes and Commercial Acumen, with a minimum of 5-8  years  of  experience  in  supporting  Organisational  Strategy  and  Reporting,  ideally  in e-commerce

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required

  •  Post graduate degree (CA/CFA/CPA) 

  • Advanced Excel, Modelling and Data Analysis skills

  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills as well as an ability to assess problems and provide solutions
