Finance Project Specialist - Mount Wellington

  • 12 month Fixed Term contract

About the position

The Finance Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for the development of innovative processes and systems for T&G Fresh finance from design to implementation and handover. Projects may include setting up finance business partnering processes including daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting, and reports for adhoc analysis. Other projects may include product costing automation, self service reporting for business partners, process investigation and documentation.

What we are looking for

Our ideal person will have strong Microsoft Excel, database and business intelligence reporting skills and provide meaningful financial information to support the business. Working as part of a team you will have a proactive, willing attitude and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 3 + years' relevant experience in a management accounting role and ideally CA qualified
  • Previous experience working in FMCG or post harvest and manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in data reporting and reconciliation
  • Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving outcomes with a high attention to detail
  • Sound decision making and influencing skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience with SAP preferred
