The Finance Reconciliation Officer will work with the Disability Business Partnering team to support revenue recognition and invoicing processes, working in partnership with the colleagues across the business to ensure Avivo continues to thrive, getting the numbers right for our internal and external customers.

As a support service, we are seeking someone with an exceptional customer service ethos, towards our colleagues and ultimately, for the customers and communities that we support.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition and invoicing each month for services delivered under the NDIS. You will process and submit claims to the NDIA portal and report on utilisation of customer funding. You will also deal with invoice queries and corrections on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Extracting, reviewing and processing data from Avivo’s CRM into the financial accounting system to generate invoices for NDIS services
  • Submitting claims to the NDIS portal for payment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to improve data integrity, improve processes and resolve errors
  • Responding to queries and requests for invoicing adjustments, providing customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Analysing data and producing report to identify trends and provide insights
  • Working collaboratively and flexibly with the finance team to ensure team deliverables are met.

We require someone with:

  • Excellent data management and analytical skills
  • Proven organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach and high attention to detail
  • Self motivation and ability to work independently also cohesively within a team environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well within and outside the team.
  • Ability to develop and interpret processes and system documentation
  • Knowledge of NDIS plan structure and claiming processes (preferred)
  • Experience in the Community Services / Not-for-Profit sector (preferred)
  • Attitudes and behaviours that demonstrate Avivo’s vision and values

  • A salary starting from $64,705 plus super
