Finance Supervisor

About the role

Collaborate with our growing Operations team working alongside other awesome and commercial professionals.  This permanent full-time opportunity reports to our Group Finance Manager. We're a rapidly growing team on the look-out for Melbourne's best talent to join us through this exciting period of growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for overseeing, reviewing and authorising various financial accounting and compliance requirements
  • Group Year End responsibilities inclusive of reconciliations, journal entries and workpaper preparation;
  • ATO compliance such as Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, Fringe Benefits Tax and relevant workpapers;
  • Annual tax planning and other ongoing compliance matters required for BlueRock Group entities;

Requirements


We want to hear from people who have:

  • 4-5 years experience in Business Services/Public practice accounting or a similar industry role
  • Tertiary qualification with a major in Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian taxation system and regulatory guidelines for Australian companies
  • Experience executing and/or managing payroll processes and associated compliance requirements
