Financial Accountant - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

My client are a large commercial business based South of the river. They are looking for a hands on financial accountant to join their business for an initial 12 month fixed term contract with an immediate start.

You will be part of a dynamic team with exposure all aspects of financial accounting and assisting with some management accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month End Financial Reporting
  • Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
  • Good understanding of IFRS
  • Reconciliations
  • Tax preparation (including FBT, GST and PAYG)
  • Consolidation of Financial Reports
  • Assist in preparation of Annual Budgets

Key Requirements:

  • CPA/CA Qualification or equivalent
  • Similar experience in role for a minimum of 3 years
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with SAP or large ERP desirable
  • Experience in the resources industry desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
