We are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our Head Office team in North Sydney.

What does this role look like?

Ensure month end responsibilities are met, including the processing of accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Processing of Payroll (via MYOB and Outsourced Payroll provider)
Manage statutory obligations, including Payroll Tax, BAS/IAS and ASIC requirements
Management and processing of Trust Account transactions
Mentor junior staff in the Finance Team
Assist Group Accountant with Treasury management
Assist Finance management with workflow, helping to deliver ad hoc projects and maintain BAU

What Candidate Profile Suits this role?

CA/CPA qualified or studying
Minimum 3 years of commercial or chartered experience
Working knowledge of AASB standards
Able to work autonomously and solve complex issues through research and self-education
Prior experience processing Payroll
Able to work collaboratively and build key relationships internally and externally across the business
A well-presented candidate with strong communication skills
High level of attention to detail - getting information right the first time
Experience using SUN systems, Salesforce (desirable) and Excel (advanced level)
