We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the team based at Oak Tree Head Office, Springhill. The Successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Financial and Management Accounting for the Retirement villages operated by the group.

The role will have a very hands on approach and work actively with site operations, construction, development and corporate to improve facility and management performance.

Key Responsibilities 

• Ensuring that Financial Accounts and Processes are up to date and are produced in a timely manner. 
• Manage all accounting operations including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Inventory Management and overseeing payroll
• Leading the village planning process including preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flow management and providing insights on financial results.
• Responsible in the preparation of internal and external Audits
• Liaise with and assist Village Managers as required
• Maintain and review Fixed Asset Registers (Tax and Accounting)  

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Business, Commerce. CA Qualified (mover from a big 4 would be considered)
• Strong Statutory and Management reporting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft packages, Excel Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills both internally and externally.
• Having a solutions driven attitude whilst working with integrity, energy.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills together with a collaborative business partnering style.
