Financial Accountant

The Company

My client is one of the leading funds management companies, currently experiencing exponential growth, in New Zealand and is looking for a dynamic financial accountant to join their team to assist with ongoing projects.

The Role

As he financial accountant in the team, your initial engagement will focus on their reconciliations processes. This role reports to the Head of Funds Management. Some responsibilities include:

• Entering of all transactions and monitoring cashflow - along with confirmations
• Reviewing of financial controls
• Running and review of daily and monthly investment and compliance related reports
• Ensure all transactions comply with company guidelines
• Partnering across the business and relay information to non-finance stakeholders
• Assist the Head of Funds Management when required

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar finance/project role and have strong technical accounting skills with intermediate Excel skills.. You will be a problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
