Financial Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an iconic market leading national business. Supporting the Financial Controller this is a varied role that will suit an ambitious candidate who is keen to progress.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management reports with commentary
• Responsible for accurate and timely P&L and balance sheet preparation ensuring compliance with policy and standards
• Cashflow reporting and analysis
• Ad hoc reporting and provision of financial insight for key management stakeholders
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of FBT, GST, and payroll tax
• Key involvement in process and systems improvement initiatives

Your experience:

• CA/CPA qualified or approaching qualification
• Previous experience in a leading accounting firm and/or large commercial organisation
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards
• Strong analytical skills and able to engage with senior stakeholders
