Our client is a specialist within the fit out and refurbishment sector across Commercial Workplace, Education, Childcare and Hospitality/Retail projects up to $10m in value.

With a current turnover of $50m and having successfully been operating for over 5 years across Sydney and Melbourne with more plans to expand they are looking to bring on an Accounts Administrator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established company and play an integral part in the business as they continue to grow and expand. 

The role: 

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and be responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivables, receive and lodge invoices onto the ledger, processing weekly reports, financial data entry and expense reporting.

This role is a full time position, 5 days a week with opportunity for flexible working for the right candidate. 

Duties will include:

  • Accounts Receivable receipting cash receipts from bank statements
  • Process progress claims and raising Tax Invoices
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts Payable invoicing and financial data entry
  • Allocate vendor and supplier invoices to the relevant job and cost code expenses 
  • Processing payments in an organized and efficient manner to the agreed payment run schedules
  • New project setup and assign employee workflow approvals
To be considered: 
  • Degree qualification in Accounting or equivalent 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a Construction company is a must
  • Strong experience across MS Office Suite, especially with Excel. 
  • Be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative and fun working environment
