About the Area
The Finance Office (FO) provides accurate, relevant and timely services through effective leadership and a strong customer focus in the areas of financial management, forecasting and management reporting. The service delivery model is based on central roles and responsibilities providing strategic leadership and support for all FO activities. Services performed by finance staff are negotiated between FO and its customers to ensure the support provided enhances the decision making process.
About the Role
The primary purpose of the Financial Analyst is to support Business Units in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, financial management and reporting by providing accurate, relevant and timely financial information. The primary purpose will be achieved by embodying a service mentality of strategy-led, communication driven, and delivery focused behaviours. The Financial Analyst will also facilitate robust decision-making and maintain open and honest communications between the Finance Office and its stakeholders in understanding their financial position and providing a firm platform for long term financial sustainability.
