FMIS Implementation Specialist
- ASAP start - 6 month hourly rate contract
- $80-120 per hour (contracting rate)
- Public sector client, Wellington CBD location
We are currently looking for an experienced FMIS Implementation Specialist, to assist with a transition to Oracle Cloud. This role is with a small, public sector organisation, based in Wellington CBD. Join a Project team of 10, to assist with an FMIS transition to replace a Finance SME.
This Role Involves:
- Gathering business requirements for user stories, testing solutions against user story criteria
- Data cleansing, validation and migration as well as reconciliation and remediation
- Test scripting and testing, quality assurance
- Preparation and delivery of training material, go-live support and end-user training
- Contribution to the Project Team in knowledge of financial principles and the experience of the front user
Desired Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Financial principles and experience working at high-levels in a finance team
- Experience with data cleansing, data migration and using Excel at an Intermediate level to transport data
- Experience with testing new systems, user stories and an understanding of the perspective of the front end user
- Excellent eye for detail, vigour and a strong problem-solving ability
- Experience using top tier finance systems such as TechOne or Oracle, experience using Oracle Cloud ERP desirable
- Flexibility to complete a range of tasks throughout the FMIS implementation
