About the Role
You will provide support in the process of weekly, end to end payroll for up to 250 employees. Working closely within the finance team to calculate complex penalties and allowances, setting up new starters, and assisting with customer invoices as required.

Duties
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Calculation of weekly hours
  • Data entry of timesheets
  • Processing weekly end to end payroll
  • Set up new and maintain existing employee master files
  • Respond to internal payroll queries in a friendly, timely manner. A working knowledge of relevant payroll procedures concerning shift types, standard, overtime and penalty pay rates, penalties and allowances, and a broad range of other terms and conditions affecting pay, as well as the ability to recognise changes in legislation and industrial agreements will be essential for success in this role.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
  • 2 Years Experience in a payroll office role
  • MYOB experience
  • Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
  • A high level of customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritise your daily workload
  • High attention to detail
