Based in Lower Hutt, the business requires a new GM, with their current GM heading offshore. This position requires a capable GM  with full operational, commercial, financial, sales, and marketing experience.

This is an autonomous role. You will report directly to the Australian based MD, and while there is an expectation around thorough business reporting, you will be free from the rigours and sometimes convoluted reporting required by a larger Corporate. 

Ideally, your background will be print or packaging, but manufacturing experience is essential to apply for this position. 

Core functions are :
* Oversight of manufacturing - capabilities, efficiencies, resources, and plant investment.
* Develop strategies for systems and company policies.
* In conjunction with MD and Sales Manager drive strategic sales, and identify areas of potential growth.
* Manage and maintain staff development and performance.
* Full financial responsibility for profitability, efficiency, and investment. 
    
 With a team of approximately 47 staff, the business is well-run, with all the technical and operational expertise in house. Your commercial, financial, and people management experience are what you will bring.
