Our business is growing.  As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Payroll Specialist to join our highly motivated and friendly team at our headquarters located at Arana Hills.

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with HR, you will be responsible for managing the payroll function including end-to-end processing.  You will also be responsible for providing timely payment of wages and associated deductions, and payments in accordance with relevant awards, contracts, legislation and internal policies.  

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Timely and accurate end-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll
-  Assisting the Finance team in end of month processing for tax and superannuation payments- Managing payroll calculations in relation to terminations, redundancies, and entitlements
- Completing validation checks to ensure data integrity
- Interpreting multiple awards and assisting in application- Troubleshooting and supporting our payroll system (Roubler)-  In conjunction with the General Manager and HR, developing payroll processes which ensure compliance and best practice providing various management and KPI reports-  Monitor customer enquiries, via phone and email

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A LOVE OF PAYROLL
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
  • Understanding of and working with Awards
  • Heaps of experience with multiple payroll, time and attendance and HR Systems
  • Excellent communication skills and plenty of confidence
  • Great attention to detail
  • A "Can Do" friendly attitude
  • Willingness to work as part of the broader team

As this is a newly created role, we envisage working hours will be 2 days per week, however, this will be assessed over time.
