GM Finance

Due to recent growth and transformational change, our client is looking to establish a more traditional finance team, that requires an experienced GM Finance to manage the daily finance operations and support strategic initiatives.

Description

Reporting to the CEO, your primary focus is to oversee all daily finance operations, as well as managing the calendar of statutory and compliance reporting for external stakeholders. You will being a broad accounting skill set that requires ASX audit or statutory reporting experience, as well as inter-company accounting for offshore commercial business units, treasury, and the preparation of commercial proposals. You will be supported by a small team and overtime have the autonomy to invest in your people as required.

Strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to support strategic initiatives through robust financial analysis is required to be successful in this role.

Profile

You will be CA / CPA qualified and ideally had exposure to ASX / statutory reporting and/or have audited ASX listed companies. You will have staff management experienec and the ability to develop staff, whilst also having strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to interface with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors with confidence. The company is growing, so would like to hire a candidate looking to progress their career.
