Our fast-growing, innovative company offers quality new and used forklifts for sale and hire and is supported by National servicing and spare parts.

We have a fantastic facility in Larapinta QLD and we are looking for passionate people to join our world-class Finance and Administration team.

About the role

This role offers the successful candidate a challenging and fulfilling role. A key part of the Finance and Administration team you will report directly to the CFO. This role positions you as a key contact within a group that has recently undergone significant growth.

This role also involves the following, but is not limited to;

• Managing the month end accounting and consolidation process
• Responsible for the preparation of several key general ledger accounts
• Preparation of monthly management reports to the North Fork Group Board
• Coordinate quarterly statutory reporting to Nishio Rent All Co., Ltd
• Primary day to day external audit contact and responsible for the lodgement of North Fork Group's statutory report to ASIC
• Responsible for the annual budget process and forecasts
• Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained within the Finance and Administration team
• Liaise with external software providers to develop reports and processes
• Responsible for statutory direct and indirect tax compliance
• Supervision of three accounting staff

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualified (Accounting/Commerce)
• CPA or CA with at least 3 years post qualified experience
• Experience working within a medium to large commercial organisation or chartered experience seeking first commercial opportunity
• Thorough understanding of internal controls and financial reporting AASB requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be highly organised, confident and ability to deal with conflicting priorities
