Our client is an innovative, forward thinking leader in the Waste Management industry, having developed a well known and established brand. They are a family owned and operated company that has experienced significant growth since inception over 50 years ago. Both their Head Office and Truck Depot are based out of their factory in the northern suburbs.

The business has a strong culture built on trust, reliability and an incredibly strong work ethic.

As a result of sustained growth, the General Manager and her team require assistance and leadership in the finance division as the business continues to evolve.

They are seeking a self-motivated, highly organised, effective person, to join the team as a Group Accountant.  The applicant must be CPA/CA qualified or near completion. The person must have a strong work ethic and the desire for self improvement. Ultimately, the Group Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the internal finance function including managing and leading the finance team and will report directly to the General Manager and the External Accountants.

The successful candidate will ideally have 4 years or more experience in a similar position or is looking to take the next step and occupy a position with more responsibility.  Waste Management industry experience is preferred but not essential. You will be confident in being able to communicate clearly with all levels within the business from Operations to Sales to the Board of Management.
