Looking for that next step in your professional career? Sanofi has a newly created permanent opportunity for a Head of Accounting to Reporting (A2R) ANZ to join the regional team in SBS, based in Sydney.

A2R ANZ Head is the Business Partner for country neighbouring functions such as Finance Business Partners, Controllers, Supply Chain etc..and the gate keeper for Closing and Reporting Operations. You will have the ability to work work collaboratively with the KL team to ensure accuracy, compliance and on time reporting is adhered to. You will ensure all Tax activities are scheduled in a timely manner in ANZ such as tax filling and statutory reporting. Ultimately your role is to ensure the smooth collaboration between our regional office in KL and ANZ, the A2R teams themselves and to foster the overall customer experience.

Priorities will Include:

  • Implementation of core model and RACI for the SBS for ANZ Manage and arbitrate planning and priorities of team workload
  • Support country CFO for all accounting topic and act as the representative of regional A2R
  • Accounting and closing - manage any additional reporting entry or local statutory adjustment which may be needed to close the books
  • Ensure all financial reporting been performed as per legal requirement, standard and Group rules
  • Local/Country tax matters and tax compliance audit requiremnts
  • Customer experience - Set up close relationships with global, regional and local stakeholders when needed to allow smooth communication and efficient issue resolution, and ensure all deliverable on time
  • Quality / Continuous improvement
  • Contribute and support country, SBS regional as well as global projects
  • Management / development
  • Auditng responsibilities

You will bring:

  •  Accounting standards: Strong knowledge in ANZ Local standards and IFRS
  • Tax rules: related to Ind Tax (VAT, WHT, FBT) and Direct Taxes
  • Proficiency in financial tools: SAP
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance environment or accounting practice (Big 4)
  • Qualification : CA/CPA
  • Experienced in project management (From ideation to implementation) desitable
  • Critial thinker with strong delivery orientation, problem solving skills and business acumen
  • Leadership skills - ability to mobilise ythe team around Group/SBS objectives
  • Rigor: respect and application of the rules, procedures..,.
  • Good listening skills, ability to keep specific information confidential
  • At ease in a remote management environment
  • Reactivity and adaptability to deal with peaks of activity due to regulatory and Groups delays
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
