We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Information and Privacy Officer to join our Quality and Information Team, working on a full time basis at Brightwater House, Osborne Park.

Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Information,  you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient support to the Quality Team. This includes maintaining and preparing releases of information in line with the relevant statutory requirements and Brightwater policies and procedures, monitoring the use of external agency portals, maintaining internal systems such as SharePoint, and developing reports as required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Australian Privacy Principles and associated legislation, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Previous experience as a Privacy Officer desirable.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders in various environments.
• Results orientated individual with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work efficiently under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively and positively influence and drive change, including continuous and process improvements.
• Demonstrated experience in data reporting and SQL reporting, with a high level of analytical ability.
• Strong knowledge and experience in managing a Document Management System (SharePoint preferred).
• Advanced computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications in particular Excel and Word.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerBi including the ability to navigate dashboards and build reports.
• Strong understanding of importance of maintaining privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old and possess a current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
• Evidence of up to date flu vaccination
• Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
