An opportunity for an Internal Auditor with to join a prestigious retail organisation in Melbourne's CBD.
Client Details
My client is a large ASX listed multinational food and beverage company with offices in Melbourne's CBD. The organisation has been actively acquiring other businesses leading to the requirement of an Internal Auditor to join their team.
Description
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Implement the changes/findings found by the corporate internal audit team
- Process Improvement using the findings found from the audit

Testing of organisational risk, compliance, controls and management frameworks

Undertaking tests against frameworks and regulations and producing and presenting internal reports to senior stakeholders on particular areas of risk for the organisation

review Internal audit, risk and control frameworks and identify areas of improvement

Partnering with IT, HR, Accounts and other corporate departments to analyse processes and advise on mitigating risk and ensuring compliance
-
Prepare working papers & reports as required
- Assist Internal Audit manager on ad hoc queries as required
- Developing internal audit plans, scopes and reports for a number of key business processes
Profile
- Experience within a big 4 or mid-tier Accounting firm or experience in a large corporate
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Either CA/CPA/CIA
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbally
- Intermediate excel skills
- Retail experinece highly regarded
