We are seeking 2 Internal Auditors to join the growing acounting firm, United Business Services Pty Ltd. If you are looking for a challenge, then this role would be ideal for you.

Essential duties:

This is an exciting and challenging position that will suit an up and coming Auditor who is interested in completing client work across a range of audit engagements and consulting services.

You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including but not limited to:

• Assisting with the planning, execution and completion of audit and other assurance engagements for clients of varying nature, including individuals, partnerships, trust accounts, public and private companies, superannuation funds, real estate agents and solicitors trust accounts;
• Preparing first draft management letters for smaller audit clients, ensuring internal control weaknesses are included;
• Performing preliminary and analytical review procedures, including ratio analysis;
• Auditing of tax calculations;
• Undertaking fieldwork for financial and compliance audits including interim and final testing;
• Drafting memos for manager and partner review; and
• Provide on the job training and mentoring to Juniors/Graduates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree
• Minimum of two years experience in an accounting role.
• Advance Excel, Microsoft Office skills

Basic exposure to a range of technical accounting and audit issues, including but not limited to:

• Balance sheet accounts:
  • Cash at bank
  • Fixed Assets
  • Debtors
  • Trade creditors and accruals
  • Employee leave provisions
  • Issued capital
  • Self Managed Super Experience
